The Passing of an icon

Hey gang,

You know every morning I usually wake up with a smile on my face and this moring was no different. That was until I turned on the news and saw that one of my heroes has passed away. George Carlin was to me one of the best comedians I had ever seen. His brash style of comedy always made me laugh. He was truly what I would call a thinking mans comic. I had the chance to meet him one time and it is a meeting that I shall never forget. I have been a fan every since the Hippy Dippy weatherman came out. Whether you agreed with him or not George was in every since of the word a comedian. He made you think, he made you laugh, and he made you question what is really right in the world. I for one will miss George, and you just know that right now he is making those in heaven laugh and feel just a little uncomfortable. Thanks George, its been an honor to have been in your audience.

It is hard to deal with the passing of one of the Greatest. George Carlin was and will always be my personal favorite. I got to see him at a small venue concert once, less than 200 in the audience. He was amazing. I will always hold dear the memories of that special night.
Now days I follow you guys of "Blue Collar Comedy". You are speaking to the nation, and us blue collar and semi white collar workers are listening loud and clear. Thank you for giving me something to laugh about in todays economy.

God wouldn't pass up the chance to get George up there. George was one of the best and my inspiration to do stand-up comedy as a career. He will be deeply missed. Never knew that Bill Engvall was a fan of George also. That's pretty cool.
